Additionally, Energy Assurance LLC is an accredited battery testing lab for several IEC portable battery standards including IEC 62133. We have been accepted as a member of the IECEE CB Scheme as a Certified Bodies Test Lab (CBTL). Energy Assurance is entitled to operate as a CBTL under the responsibility of UL (Demko) as our National Certification Body (NCB). Overall our CBTL certification allows us to provide a gateway to global markets as well as a superior level of confidence among industry, regulators and their stakeholders.

The TÜV SÜD America CARAT Program (Certification After Recognition of Agent’s Testing) Partner Labs CARAT recognition enables laboratories to perform third-party testing at their facility, with the test results reviewed and approved by TÜV SÜD expert engineers prior to the product’s certification. This accreditation program allows more control and flexibility over the timing of the certification work while working directly with battery experts. All work performed in cooperation with TÜV SÜD America is recognized under their CARAT program. These certification services will provide customers with the ability to obtain a TÜV SÜD America Mark on their products to commonly required U.S. safety standards, international standards, and transportation standards.
